Designed to meet compliance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and The Equality Act 2010. The Ferno Saver Safe Evacuation Chair should ideally sit on each floor stairwell, on it’s bracket, with it’s dust cover - ready for action when required, but hopefully never used.
The Ferno Saver Safe Evacuation Chair is the total solution for any emergency evacuation situation. It glides down stairs easily and smoothly to ensure no heavy lifting or manual handling is required, although training of its use is essential for operators or responsible person(s).
Ideal for use in any multi-level building - including workplaces, public buildings, shopping centres, sport arenas, offices, hospitals and care homes - any other location where peoples safety is the responsibility of others.
Main Features:
- Safe easy transfer of patient - seat cover held at all 3 sides of the chair and cushioned at the front ensures the transfer of person on and off the chair is safe and also comfortable for the occupant
- Large weight capacity & physical size frame - 28 stone safe working load and a large seat gives the chair a large occupant capacity capability
- Improved operator control and comfort – easy-grip rubber sleeves around the upper handle allow excellent grip when moving the chair and rubberised sleeve on the base cross-frame ensures a reliably strong and safe braking grip when preparing the chair for descent
- Reassuring patient safety – Adjustable head pad and patient retaining strap to enhance comfort and security
- Better manoeuvrability – wide rear kickstand adds strength and stability on the rear castors, preventing tipping of the chair and making horizontal movement of the occupant effortless
- No marking - light-coloured track ensures no marking of the stairs
- Simple to clean and maintain – removable seat cover with zips situated on the underside
- Easy storage – lightweight, with compact profile it comes with wall bracket, dust cover and user guidance signage
